Although any type of high-quality wine yeast will work with EZ Caps, our special EZ Caps yeast will provide superior results making any type of wine, beer, or champagne. Our large and affordable 16 gram bottle of yeast is a better deal than you can get anywhere else. This yeast has good tolerance to ethanol and free sulfur dioxide, and ferments to dryness. A very low producer of foam, urea, and fusel oils. Recommended for reds, whites and especially champagne. Winemakers have remarked it is the fastest, cleanest, and most neutral fermenter offered and performs well restarting stuck fermentations. Ferments best between 45°-95°F. Alcohol tolerance 14%-16% or higher. You can buy your alcohol-producing yeast anywhere but for your health and safety, NEVER use baking yeast.
